There is still a long way to go (it is an Early Access game after all), but the developers have made really impressive progress with the game as it is now. Many bugs have been fixed, some game mechanics have been reworked and others have been added to the game. The graphics have been massively overhauled, resulting in a much better look of the game world, and the general performance also got a massive boost as a result.
